It's good to give back.
It’s even better to be able to give back to the place you call home. For nearly 25 years, BURKE has been privileged to lend its support to a number of non-profit organizations in the Charlotte Region. From developing videos, logos and websites to coordinating events and promotions that bring people together, BURKE has made giving an art form.
It all starts with A Big Heart. Literally. BURKE’s A Big Heart Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit supports children’s charities across the region through events like the annual Toys for Tots Golf Tournament. Held this year at The Palisades, the annual T4T event has raised over $140,000 for toys and distribution.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Foundation
In addition to serving on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Foundation Board for the past six years, BURKE helps the Foundation raise vital funds for police equipment and training through educational materials and the Annual CMPF luncheon.
Boys Scouts of America
Backed by our own eagle scout, Jack Burke, we’re always prepared to support the Mecklenburg County Council of the Boy Scouts. Jack has not only served as the Council’s marketing chair for four years, but remains a Scoutmaster for Troop 7 at PUMC.
Servants with a Heart
Our staff is as generous as it is talented, helping Servants with a Heart fulfill its mission to aid families worldwide through local humanitarian food aid and service.
BURKE helped its Southend neighbor Charlotte Trolley get on-track, serving on the Trolley board for 11 years, developing promotions to generate funds, and naming the Trolley Powerhouse Museum.
Autism Society of North Carolina
Our expertise in branding, websites and logo development helped Autism Society of NC increase awareness and proceeds through its Annual Autism Fare restaurant night.
YWCA Central Carolinas
“We Believe” became our message and platform for a YWCA Capital Campaign that included a video introducing three families empowered by the YWCA mission and support.
Carolinas Raptor Center
A five-year board member for the Carolinas Raptor Center, BURKE helped promote the Center through regional commercials, a new logo, brand development, and events designed to Take Flight.
With more to give, BURKE is equally proud to support crisis resource center Carolinas Caring Connection, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Carolinas Chapter, Classroom Central, Arby’s Foundation and the inaugural Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.
