Carolinas Poison Center "Sharing Pills Can Kill" Integrated Campaign
In response to the drastic increase of poisoning deaths among 15 to 19 year olds, Carolina Poison Center commissioned BURKE to design amulti-faceted campaign to raise awareness about the growing problem of prescription drug sharing among teens. The campaign includes a 30-second Public Service announcement, microsite, print ads, digital ads and informational posters. “Sharing Pills Can Kill” has effectively raised prescription drug abuse awareness on a national level. The PSA won a 2014 Bronze Telly Award and a Silver Aster Award. The integrated campaign also won a Gold Healthcare Advertising Award.
